Pilates for Paws is a community-driven initiative dedicated to supporting animals in need through movement, generosity, and connection. Throughout the months of May and June, we will be collecting funds and essential supplies to benefit Hermione's Home Cat Rescue and Woodbridge Regional Animal Control. This effort will culminate in a special mat Pilates fundraising class on June 20 at Mixville Park in Cheshire, where our community will come together for a meaningful workout that gives back. Every donation and every participant helps provide care, shelter, and a second chance for animals waiting for their forever homes.
The Rescues
We will be splitting the monetary proceeds between Hermione's Home and Woodbridge Regional Animal Control.
Hermione's Home is a compassionate, volunteer-driven cat rescue dedicated to giving vulnerable and abandoned cats a second chance at life. Focused on rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, Hermione’s Home provides safe foster environments, necessary medical care, and plenty of love while each cat awaits their forever home. Their mission goes beyond adoption, working to educate the community on responsible pet ownership and the importance of animal welfare. Through their commitment and care, Hermione’s Home continues to make a meaningful impact, one cat at a time.
Woodbridge Regional Animal Control is a vital community resource dedicated to the safety and welfare of animals in the Woodbridge area. Their team works around the clock to respond to animal-related concerns, rescue stray and injured animals, and ensure local laws are upheld to protect both pets and residents. In addition to their enforcement role, they provide care, shelter, and adoption opportunities for animals in need, helping reunite lost pets with their owners and finding loving homes for those without one. Their commitment to compassion and public service plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of animals throughout the community.
Mat Pilates Fundraiser
Join us for an outdoor mat Pilates fundraiser at Mixville Park in Cheshire on June 20th at 11am - a feel-good class with an even better purpose. This special session will bring our community together for a full-body Pilates workout while giving back to animals in need.
All proceeds will be donated and split equally between Hermione’s Home Cat Rescue and Woodbridge Regional Animal Control, helping provide care, shelter, and second chances for local animals.
